MOSCOW, Sep 27 (PRIME) -- Russian farmers threshed 108.3 million tonnes of grain in bunker weight from 40.1 million hectares as of Friday after 97.6 million tonnes from 37.5 million hectares as of the same date last year, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.
The crop yield rose 3.8% on the year to 27 metric centners per hectare.
The Agriculture Ministry expects the Russian grain harvest to amount to 118 million tonnes in 2019.
